The junior test date is October 6th, and the freshman and sophomore test dates are October 7th.
All elementary and middle school offices will be closed through July 31. High school offices and district offices will be open Monday–Thursday from 8am to 4pm. High school offices will be closed for lunch from 11:30am to 12:30pm each day.
Central Enrollment will be open Monday–Thursday, July 6–16 at Memorial's Welcome Center for families who need enrollment assistance.
Families can continue to enroll online at any time by visiting edmondschools.net/enroll. Enrollment applications will begin processing during Central Enrollment or when school registrars return on August 1.
Edmond North broadcast students reach new heights
Students from Edmond North High School were recently honored as the recipients of 4 Student Production Awards from the Heartland Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This year’s award ceremony was presented by KFOR anchors Ali Meyer and Lucas Ross. This marks Edmond Public Schools’ first wins in the competition and the first wins from an Oklahoma high school without selective enrollment. NATAS is best known as the organization behind the Emmy Awards and also hosts a regional and national competition for many categories of student journalism.
The categories won by North include: Solo Storyteller- Chloe Ramsey; Talent (News or Sports)- Violet Iver; Headline News (programs under 10 minutes)- Husky Network Staff; and Magazine Program (programs over 10 minutes)- Husky Network Staff. Most of the students involved in the productions come from North’s Broadcast Journalism class which produces a weekly announcement show called The North Report that informs students about upcoming events and celebrates the people and programs that make North one of the top schools in the state. Chloe Ramsey, an ENHS Junior who serves as the News Director for the North Report had this to say about the awards- “I’m proud of this accomplishment because it showed that all my hard work and dedication had higher meaning. This empowers me to keep on creating and continue using the lessons I’ve learned in Husky Network while working with an amazing staff.”
Since winning the awards from the Heartland Chapter, which represents Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming, the entries will go on to represent the region in the national phase of the competition this fall. Industry professionals and educators will first evaluate which entries should receive nominations at the national level and then select winners from amongst those nominees.

During Open House, you will spend 10 minutes in each of your students' classes. Teachers will share the curriculum goals, skills, objectives, and major themes they plan to cover throughout the year.
Feel free to print a copy of your child's schedule to bring with you. You may also use the digital version through the Parent Portal app on your phone. Maps will also be available to help you navigate.
We will have a second Testing 101 Parent Meeting at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium before Open House begins. This will be the same presentation that was shown on August 6th. We wanted to provide a second opportunity for those who may have missed the August 6th meeting.
11th-grade test is on October 8th

The building will be open for a Scheduled Walkaround on Tuesday, August 5th, 9:00 AM—3:00 PM, and Wednesday, August 6th, 1:00 PM—8:00 PM.
