Freshman Counselor A-L

Tara Chase

Mrs. Chase is Okie born and bred, growing up in the OKC metro area. She formerly taught AP Social Studies at Edmond North before moving on to Putnam City schools as a counselor. In 2019 she returned home to the Huskies. At North she makes it her mission to meet her students where they are. Whether students are needing a safe space to talk, help with academics, and/or making connections it’s her goal for all students to know that her office is always open and welcomes you to drop by anytime. Being able to be a caring adult in the lives of her students is always the priority. Mrs. Chase graduated from OU with a BA in Political Science and Masters in Adult & Higher Education Administration, finishing her education journey at UCO with a Masters in Educational Guidance and Counseling. In her down time she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, watching Sooner football and Yankees baseball, and serving at Life Church.
