Terri Cobble, PE Teacher at Centennial, who was nominated for BELONGING. Mrs. Cobble makes sure that every student feels a sense of belonging, regardless of their abilities or skill levels. She thoughtfully organizes groups and partner activities in creative ways so that each student has the opportunity to be seen, included, and valued. Through her intentional approach, she creates a supportive environment where all students can participate and feel important in her class.

Britney Daugherty, Behavior Specialist at Angie Debo, was nominated for HOPE. Ms. Daugherty is the first to step in and the first to build meaningful connections with students. She never loses sight of what it’s like to be a teacher, understanding the difficulty of balancing academic growth while managing complex behaviors. Britney approaches every situation with hope, offering thoughtful, solution-based ideas that genuinely motivate and support teachers.

Teri Walls, English Teacher & Department Head at North, was nominated for BELONGING. Mrs. Walls strives to make her students and our staff feel welcome everyday. She is truly the heart of Edmond North, serving on Care Crew, party planning committee, and generally keeping her finger on the pulse of all the Huskies.
