Ms. Hastings came to North in 2017 after 8 years of teaching Spanish and 1 year in the library at Millwood Public Schools.  She loves reading and talking about books, so this is the perfect job! She also enjoys connecting with students in a variety of ways, whether through teaching research, tech help, Book Club, Student Library Advisory Committee, selling coffee, or just sitting and chatting in one of the library’s comfy chairs. When not at school, Ms. Hastings enjoys spending time with friends and family, crafting, traveling, and playing with her crazy dog.

Kylie Collier is excited for Edmond North to be her first library job! Before joining the North crew, she taught 7th and 8th grade Reading/Language arts in El Reno for 5 years. She loves sharing her passion for reading with students and especially enjoys talking about books to anyone who will listen. Some of her favorite YA authors include Karen McManus, Sarah Dessen, Rick Riordan, and Adam Silvera. If she is not in the library or curled up on the couch reading, she enjoys playing with her daughter, taking walks, and cooking.

Mrs. Scott started at North in the fall of 2021.  Prior to joining the media center staff, she helped international students improve their English skills at the local university.  Both of her children graduated from North, so she is excited to work at their alma mater.  Mrs. Scott likes traveling, spending time outdoors, and entertaining friends and family at her home.
