Mrs. Lozano came to North in 2017 after 8 years of teaching Spanish and 1 year in the library at Millwood Public Schools.  She loves reading (especially books by Elizabeth Acevedo and Maureen Johnson) and talking about books, so this is the perfect job! She also enjoys connecting with students in a variety of ways, whether through teaching research, tech help, Book Club, Key Club, selling coffee, or just sitting and chatting in one of the library’s comfy chairs. When not at school, Mrs. Lozano enjoys spending time with friends and family, crafting, traveling, and playing with her two crazy dogs.

Some of her favorite YA authors include Karen McManus, Sarah Dessen, Rick Riordan, and Adam Silvera. If she is not in the library or curled up on the couch reading, she enjoys playing with her new baby, taking walks, and cooking.
