DECA would like to proudly announce that “SOCKTOBER is here!” Please consider donating a new pair, or a package, of socks at the Student Store during tutorial on Tuesdays, to support the Husky Clothing Pantry this month. Adult sizes, please! A donation box will also be available in Mrs. Inselman’s room, E-177, right by the store, for donations made outside of open tutorial Tuesdays. There are many in our Husky family that would appreciate fun and warm socks, both guys and girls, so try to donate as much as you can!! If you donate one pair of socks, you can get a free cookie during open tutorial! If you donate two or more pair, you can get two free cookies. Max limit of two free cookies per person. Thank you for participating in SOCKTOBER, and go Huskies!
JOIN ENHS STOMP TEAM! Go around the school and find Husky Stomp posters, and either take a picture of the poster, or just grab a form. Forms are all around the school, or you can go to the Main Office and get one from Mrs. Buck, or the Freshman Office. Fill out forms, and turn them into Mrs. Buck in the Main Office by October 16. Females and males are allowed to join. It is really simple, fun, and there are benefits. Fill out a form and join Husky Stomp today!
A representative from OSU, Westminster College, and the University of Tulsa will be here after Fall Break. Please stop by the Counseling Office to get a pass.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: The Rotary and Mercy Clinic are hosting a Job Shadow Day on October 24. The Rotary has a variety of careers to choose from, and the Mercy Clinic is providing a variety of opportunities within the healthcare field, including positions related to physicians, laboratory sciences, nursing, and healthcare administration. You MUST provide your own transportation to and from the sites. Students need to sign up in the Counseling office ASAP, as the spots are first come, first served.
