Principal Debreon Davis sent the following information home on Monday, July 9th to make ENHS parents and students aware of current construction projects and parking information.
As we get ready for the year there are a few things I want to start bringing to your attention during our last few weeks of summer. If anyone has driven past the school this summer you are aware of the numerous construction projects happening on campus. The City of Edmond released a statement last Thursday announcing that Thomas Road will be closed starting this Friday, July 13th for the completion of two projects – the expansion of Edmond North’s parking lot and Thomas Road being widened and moved.
STUDENT DROP OFF & PICK UP
Edmond North traffic WILL HAVE ACCESS to Thomas for student drop off and pick up in front of the Freshman Academy. Once these construction projects start I will send a detailed map explaining how student drop off and pick up will work.
Seniors and Juniors will be the only students allowed to buy parking on campus at the beginning of the year. Parking on campus for Sophomore students will open after we return from Labor Day on Wednesday, September 5th. Sophomore students will be allowed to park at Revive Church but will need to fill out an application and obtain a parking sticker from the attendance office to park at the church.
SENIORS AND JUNIORS
Parking permit applications are available in the office to pick up and fill out prior to our presale parking days. We encourage you to come by the office and pick up a yellow parking permit PRIOR to the presale days to make these days go smoothly! Parking is $60, students will need their driver’s license, current insurance, license plate number and must have paid for all financial holds to purchase a parking space.
Senior PreSale Parking Dates
Wednesday, July 18th from 8am – 11am
Wednesday, July 25th from 8am – 11am
Junior PreSale Parking Date
Wednesday, August 1st from 8am – 11am
I want to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we complete the construction projects on campus. I will continue to communicate with you as soon as information is made available. As always, please feel free to email me with any questions!
