• Any student who was unable to attend the Academic Awards can come to the counseling office to pick up their reward.
  • Are you interested in traveling abroad?  Join Mrs. Scott and Mrs. Walls on their fourth Edmond North student trip to Europe.  This time, we are going to Ireland and London for an eight ay adventure on Spring Break 2018.  The trip include tours of the Irish countryside, a visit to the famous Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle, the London Eye, and even a theater performance in London’s famous West End.  If you are interested, there will be a parent and student informational meeting Wednesday, May 3 in the Edmond North Library at 5:30.  Hope to see you there.
  • Congratulations to the 2017 Prom Court:  Taylor Harvick, Kara Karbs, Addi Price, Lexi Wardell, Will Boyd, Carter Brown, Steven Oloba and Dion Walker.  Voting for Prom King & Queen will take place at Prom.
  • Boys Varsity and JV Basketball tryouts are April 27th at 3:30.  You must have a physical on file for tryouts.
  • Prom ticket sales have begun!  Tickets will be $30 this week and the price will go up to $35 next week. Tickets can be purchased at the finance office.  All fines and fees must be paid prior to purchasing a ticket.  Forms for guests that do not attend North may be picked up in the attendance office.  Guests cannot be 21 or older.  Guests cannot be a Freshman or younger.
  • Attention Juniors:  the ACT results are in for the March 21st test.  Please stop by the Counseling Office to pick up your results.
  • The Senior Robing Ceremony is scheduled for April 25th in the auditorium.  What is Senior robing?  The robing ceremony is an opportunity for someone of importance in the senior’s life to help them put on their cap and gown for the first time.  The senior asks the individual(s) they choose to robe them to be present this might.  They can select anyone of their choice such as parents, grandparent’s, sibling, coach, teacher, or other person they feel has had a significant influence in their life.  There is a short program where each senior and the person robing them are called to the stage,  At this time, the senior’s name is announced followed by the 3 most important accomplishments of the senior.  The Seniors should have received a robing card and information in the Senior Government classes.  If they need a new card, one can be picked up in the counseling office.  Please return those cards to the counseling office by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 19th.
  • Attention Senior Girls:  Information about the Edmond Panhellenic Recruitment meeting is available in the counseling office.  If you plan on going Greek at an Oklahoma college or university make sure you stop by.
  • Would you like to be a journalist?  Ruff Draft is currently seeking driven, talented students to be staff writers and photographers for the school newspaper.  Applications are available with English teachers or from Mrs. Dupre in room E273.  Applications, and samples of work, are due to Mrs. Dupre by April 21.
  • Do you care about what’s going on at your school?   Bookmark ruffdraft.net (R-U-F-F-Draft dot net) on your phone and check the website of your school newspaper every day.  They publish updates about North’s most important people and events twice every week, right on your phone or computer.  No more ignoring the newspapers in the cafeteria every month!  Head to ruffdraft.net.
